- DWP Project
Delivered the IT Project Management for the mobilisation of a new £80 million per annum outsourcing project for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) This involved personal mobile radios and body cameras for the G4S security officers guarding the 850 DWP sites, and the rollout of AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the G4S Alarm Receiving Centre
- Replacement Outsourcing Provider
Project Managed what was Project Groundhog for UK and Ireland Region involving procurement of a new supplier, resulting in a change from Getronics to Fujitsu; this involved managed the ITT process across suppliers, independent consultants and G4S business units, short listing vendors through to preferred supplier and running the PMO.
- WAN, fixed line and mobile services
Ran the PMO for Project Beech, the procurement of G4S’s WAN, fixed line and mobile services. This was to bring the successful closure of Beech from transition to Business as Usual (BAU), and involved managed the Telefonica O2 transition project team as well as running the PMO.
- New Intranet
Project managed what became Project Iceberg, the procurement and implementation of the new intranet for UK and Ireland Region. This involved all aspects of the Project Life Cycle including creating, presenting and agreeing the business case to the management board, securing the CAPEX, creating an ITT, selecting suppliers and launching the service. This was delivered on a managed services basis, and was delivered on time and on budget.
- Knowledge Management
Provided Programme Management contract resource for a new initiative for a multinational requirement in Knowledge Management to enable G4S to proliferate and share information across the Group. This has resulted in the construction of an ITT which was issued to selected outsourcing vendors. Managed the programme through to preferred supplier (Documentum) implementation, launch and ongoing service delivery including supplier management, (multi-year contract)
